It is always a good thing when you can look over your old art, compare it to the new, and see great improvements. Don't ever give up, just keep trying over and over again, and don't ever think you've arrived at the artistic peak you can and will do even better.

Practice really does make perfect, or close to perfect. When I started out with sketching, I was a little bothered by my mediocre art. I now realize that I'll always see it that way and I'll want to keep improving my art as a result. I should never think that my art is perfect, and accept the fact that there's always more to learn.

I've recently graduated from high school, so now I have more time to sketch.
